#7, #6, #5: the different kicks

In soccer there are many different types of kicks:

  • penalty kick;
  • indirect free kick;
  • goal kick;
  • corner kick;
  • direct free kick.

Each of those kicks is guided by myriad rules and procedures that must be followed. Americans like things simple and easy. But like so many other things, soccer just doesn't give you that.
